Singles for Christ Africa, is taking on its role as a unifying people of God, and bringing across the continent the true meaning of living our lives for Christ. As a continuous formation for us members and leaders of SFC, it is very important that we once again, stop, look into ourselves, and seek God’s plan for us in this beautiful continent of Africa.

In line with this, we invite everyone to attend and be part of the 1^st SFC Africa Conference entitled “Be ONE” taken from the very words of Jesus found in John 17:21, saying, “I pray that they may all be one. Father! May they be in us, just as you are in me and I am in You. May they be one, so that the world will believe that you sent me.”

Each trail is designed to showcase the richness and beauty of Africa while at the same time, introducing the SFC to God’s growing work with our African brethren.

So take your pick. Choose a trail that interests you. Come and follow the trail and see for yourself God’s handiwork. Witness God’s love for Africa and rediscover His for you.

TRAILS SCHEDULE:

TRAILS DETAILS & REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

1. Registration fee for the SFC African Trails 2008 to Nairobi, Kenya and Kampala, Uganda is US $50. This will include the African Trails kit and transportation expenses for the whole duration of the African Trails. This does NOT however, include airfare nor the Entry VISA fee of US $50 (see item 6 for further details).

2. Food and lodging for the duration of the African Trails will be provided by our CFC Community in the Trail you have chosen as the delegates will be hosted by our CFC brethren.

3. All delegates should register by accomplishing the SFC African Trails 2008 registration form (DOWNLOAD REGISTRATION FORM) and sending it to africantrails08@gmail.com.

4. The delegate’s slot to the SFC African Trails 2008 will be confirmed by the secretariat upon receipt of duly filled registration form. A letter of invitation will be sent to the delegate upon confirmation of attendance for visa purposes.

5. Payments can be made upon arrival in Nairobi, Kenya. Payments will be received by the SFC African Trails 2008 Secretariat.

6. Visa* and airfare to Nairobi, Kenya will be taken cared of by the delegate. Travel details should also be emailed to the secretariat for pick-up and drop-off arrangements.

* Visa can be obtained upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, Kenya for US $50 (valid for 3 months). The SFC African Trails 2008 secretariat will issue a letter of invitation to the delegate for visa application purposes upon confirmation of attendance.

** Visa for those choosing Trail 5 going to Kampala, Uganda will have to pay an additional US $50 (valid for 3 months) for Uganda visa application purposes.

7. As shown in the SFC African Trails schedule, all Trails will go back to Nairobi in time for the 1^st SFC Africa Leaders Conference from October 3-5, 2008. You may choose to join the SFC ALC for a registration fee of US $160 which will cover the conference fee, food, lodging and conference kits.

8. Option to extend and go around Nairobi or other neighboring countries of East and Central Africa can be arranged separately or through the assistance of the SFC African Trails 2008 Secretariat.

1. For those traveling by group, kindly assign a delegation head for easier coordination.

Hi everyone! Greetings from Kenya!

Participants to the African Trails will do SFC CLP’s and trainings in the destinations mentioned. For a duration of one week (1 week), they will conduct these activities while being hosted by our local CFC brethren there.

In the end, the African Trails 2008 is aiming for the participants to experience the CFC African Missions by exposing them to the people, culture and beauty of Kenya.

Inspired by Jesus call of “Follow me”(John 21:19), African Trails 2008 invites all Singles for Christ members to seize an adventure of a lifetime. African Trails calls each one of us to pack our bags, come to Africa, and for a week, follow a trail that will lead us to self-discovery.

Trail 3: Nairobi - Mombasa - Nairobi
Trail 4: Nairobi - Malindi - Nairobi
Trail 5: Nairobi - Kampala (in Uganda) - Nairobi

* All Trails will require a fee of 50 USD for transportation costs.
** Trail 5 will require an additional fee of 50 USD for visa costs.

After one week, all trails will converge at Nairobi for the SFC Kenya Regional Conference.

Fees are inclusive of trail kits and transportation expenses.

Food and accommodations will be provided by the hosts in each destination.
